These are sprayable mists or smoothing fluids that combine natural plant oils with cyclomethicone, an additive that allows the emollient oils to nevertheless finish "dry"-- no greasy afterfeel here.

Finito, Mosquito!
The essential oils in this blend pack an incredible-- and natural!-- punch when it comes to dealing with pesky skeeters. One of its primary constituents, catnip essential oil, has been shown to be 10x more effective than DEET in repelling mosquitoes in clinical tests. While catnip oil itself is pungent enough to drive *humans* away as well when applied straight, I've blended it well enough to make a lovely, outdoorsy solution of a long list of oils including atlas cedar, lemon-scented tea tree, lemon eucalyptus, lemongrass, peppermint, lavender, geranium and patchouli, to name a sample. FDA says I can't sell it as a "natural insect repellent". ok. so let me just offer you this nice-smelling dry oil that seems to lessen the quantity of mosquito bites many people get while wearing it. (Now tested by friends and family in NJ, NY, PA, CA, WA, OR, TX, Canada, Mexico, Aruba and Indonesia, all with similar results - fewer mosquito bites!)
